uvisbox.Modules.ProbabilisticMarchingCubes.probabilistic_marching_cubes_mesh.probabilistic_marching_cubes_mesh(summary_statistics)

Identity function that passes through summary statistics.

This function exists to maintain consistency with the stats->mesh->vis pipeline architecture used in other modules, even though no mesh transformation is needed for probabilistic marching cubes.

Parameters:

summary_statistics (dict) – Contains level_crossing_probability, a 3D array of shape (n_z - 1, n_y - 1, n_x - 1) representing the probability of isosurface presence in each cell.

Returns:

level_crossing_probability – 3D array of probabilities extracted from the input dictionary.

Return type:

np.ndarray
